What’s it all about

On 2nd march 2008 we opened the Hospital Radio (Gibraltar)
and for the very first time St Bernard’s has its own radio station

The station is dedicated to the patients & staff, giving entertainment
music, request shows comedy and also a kid’s section.

We broadcast over the Internet, as radio FM signal is very hard to get
hold of, but using the Internet to deliver our station means not only
the hospital receives the broadcasts but any one that clicks the listen
live button, that all of Gibraltar, UK, the whole world.

Our program swap system that we do is to swap our radio programs to
hospitals in the UK which means that the UK will get our programs patients away receiving treatments in the UK will still be able to get requests and messages from family & friends back in Gibraltar.

We are currently working on a method of connecting direct to the patients
in the UK so that family & friends can talk direct to the patient.

We intend to bring more and more facilities to this website and the radio
